Arsenal Should Drop Financial Pressure and Fix Hanging Players or Risk Getting Burned

Arsenal is riding high on their fourth place finish last season in the Premiership to remain calm despite their pathetic performance at start of the Premiership. How can Arsene Wenger explain their loss to Manchester City, falling behind eight points of Manchester United and recording their worst top flight campaign in 14 years?

Arsenal surprisingly saw their stars grow faster than expected that helped them sneaked through fourth place on the last day of the competition last season, something we might not be able to see from them unless they get their acts together.

Their £357million stadium is creeping through Arsene Wenger and his boys to perform and recover the financial investments the organization has made for them. Their worst start in more than a decade don’t look good on them and are pressured on getting back on track and not lose games like their Manchester City humiliation.

Arsenal got a lot of young players below the age of 23 in Cesc Fabregas, Robin van Persie, Emmanuel Eboue, Emmanuel Adebayor, Johan Djourou, Justin Hoyte and Theo Walcott whose chances of maturing enough to win the big games is close to a wish list as of this moment.

Arsenal needs to do things immediately to get back on track

1. Drop the Pressure – Don’t mind if your club is going into debt which may lead to great financial loss amidst their big spending for their stadium. Think only of your fans who is the source of your financial stability, and when you think of fans, you think about winning games—plain and simple.

2. Fix the Players – If their idea of recovering their financial investments relies on defender Ashley Cole then Arsenal management ought to be fired. They should be reasonable and get Ashley Cole to play or move him to get Gallas in return. Jose Antonio Reyes is another concern for the squad who is reported to be shipped to Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid.

The only chance Arsenal is going to the top is to see their young players mature at a level capable of slugging with the biggest and most prepared squads. The fast they get their lineup secured the closer will their dream become. Decide on Ashley Cole and Jose Antonio Reyes as if a red alert warning has already been issued. Right now, you’re on red card Arsenal.

Falling behind eight points after just three games is unacceptable. Excellent summary on what needs to be done to revert this situation. I’m sad to see my team in England doing so badly. Last year was bad enough already, with the exception of the great run at the Champions.

    Cheers from Brazil,

    Carlos
