David Beckham will be out for six weeks following the injury he obtained during the England – Portugal game.
Scans made after the game showed a tear in his right Archilles tendon and ‘lesion’ in his left knee’s ligament. Another scan is scheduled to be made by Real Madrid doctors.
Beckham had a sorry ending for probably his last World Cup competition as has said
I twisted my knee in the first-half and then I went up for a header in the first five minutes of the second-half and the player landed on my Achilles.
He will be out for six weeks excluding sometime he wish to spend on personal matters also prior to the start of the Premiership season.
Without the pressure as England’s captain, an injury and an early exit in the World Cup competition, it’s best for him to have a honeymoon with Victoria afterall, he cheered with so much energy in every England game in the World Cup. Did you see her in the stands?
