Henry Should Sit Out Game Against Manchester United
Henry is still hurting on his recurring foot injury and playing against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday is the last thing Arsene Wenger should do because no matter what it is, their young players have not developed into a cohesive unit to take out Manchester United at this early stage of the season.
Alex Ferguson has a great start for Manchester leading all the teams at the start of the season. The team who looked sharp against Celtic 3-2 is meeting Arsenal with the addition of Christian Ronaldo who is more than enough to fill-in the shoes of injured Ryan Giggs. Manchester is going to defeat Arsenal unless their top players like Rooney, Ronaldo, Carrick, etc. get injured on the game. Manchester United is weak on defense and relies much on a team effort to boost their backline rather than having good individual players playing in a team system. Their last three games against Watford, Tottenham and Celtic exposed their defensive weakness that could allow the opponents to score but no more than they do.
Arsenal is playing Henry on a lone striker position which needs a lot of burst running throughout the game which he could capitalize on a defensive lapse by Manchester, but again, they would not score more than Manchester United. Arsene Wenger ought to have Thierry Henry rest this game out and let his young players play out Manchester United. It would take Arsenal more time to develop its players and should be a little patient and smart from endangering their prized striker in Thierry Henry.
