Ronaldo Softens, senses he’s Handcuffed
A few days ago Christian was bent on leaving Manchester, but it seem he have softened his stance a bit—saying, There is still nothing concrete, If it is a question of staying then it will be fine, if I leave it will also be fine. It is still a question that has to be decided and is an issue that has to be discussed in the next few days.
Contrary to his prior unprofessional attitude he seems to show some respect and love to Manchester United. Why? He figured out that Manchester is not going to let him go and he better get his acts together if he’s going to have a fruitful stay with the organization.
This kid simply cries over sentiments that Manchester did not support him in the World Cup against allegations that Wayne Rooney’s departure was his doing.
Manchester’s stand on Ronaldo is clear: There is no possibility of Cristiano being sold. Cristiano recently signed a new contract until 2010 and the club fully expects him to honour it. The club will not listen to any offers for Cristiano. He is one of the brightest young stars in world football as demonstrated by his performances at the World Cup and Manchester United are not in the business of selling their best young players.
Given the Ferguson’s history on losing players he desires for the team in the last decade, it seems Ronaldo is going to stay. He doesn’t care much about profits that could go more than the £12.2million they paid Sporting Lisbon for Ronaldo in 2003 and is strong on keeping this wild player.
Ronaldo is taking some time off at home in Madeira Island and leaves things to his agent Jorge Mendes.

[...] Ruud Van Nistelrooy is finally happy to settle down in his dream team, Real Madrid, after he fell out of grace from Alex Ferguson over Christian Ronaldo and his antics. As posted previously, no matter what Alex Ferguson says, Ruud is going to be dealt out of Manchester United, and true enough it did not take too long to kick him out of the English club. [...]

[...] It’s obviously no brainer that Reyes’ denial of his interested transfer to Real Madrid was meant to shut everyone up and appease his club to put him in a better bargaining position. He is no superstar and could not make any Christian Ronaldo type stunt; but accept the fact that he needs to bow down to get decisions in favor of him. Well, you better shut yourself up too, because you are just another card to be dealt with. [...]
