Ruud Is a Card to be Dealt for the Right Price
Ruud Van Nistelrooy is politically used to increase his value before Alex Ferguson milks and acceptable amount of money out of his transfer.
His feud with Christian Ronaldo, the increase in playing time for Louis Saha and his exclusion from Roy Keane’s retirement celebration game does not seem to favor Ruud; enough to believe Alex Ferguson’s public announcement which says he ain’t going anywhere and shall be in an United shirts when the season starts.
That is a good PR move for Alex to keep other clubs guessing whether they want Ruud or not in their lineup. They are simply showing much love they are pouring on their aging striker to merit higher sale value as much as possible.
They are playing a tactical game plan on negotiations pertaining to Ruud which should last long once they feel they have received the highest possible amount for him.
Bayern on the other hand has a game of their own by announcing Ruud is playing for them next season.
It’s a joy to see how these two sides play each other out with Manchester waiting for the right price while Bayern trying to send a message to give up Ruud for £15million and lesser if possible depending on which tactical move is better of the two.
Real Madrid is also on the hunt for the aging striker however, Alex has confirmed they are not happy with the offer the club has presented to finalize the transfer.
Which team would most likely bag the striker is going to be a matter of time as Ruud is no longer wanted in Manchester more than a card to be dealt with.
